The Salvation Army wanted to increase their street presence at their HQ in London, near St Paul's and the Tate Modern. They decided they needed to illuminate their windows to attract the attention of the estimated 4 million people who pass by their building every year. The best way to achieve a large format illuminated display graphics was to use super size light boxes (http://www.w-co.co.uk/large-format-lightboxes.php).
The main two light boxes under consideration by the client were the Flex Face light box (http://www.w-co.co.uk/flex-face-light-box.php) or the Fabric Face light box (http://www.w-co.co.uk/fabric-face-light-boxes.php), they commented, “weighing up the various options we went for 2.5m x 2.5m flex-face double-sided light boxes. If money had not been an issue we'd almost certainly have gone for the fabric face light box option but we needed to be careful with our budget.”
W&Co produced and installed 3 double sided, large format, Flex Face light boxes with Christmas display graphics in each side. The client, was extremely happy with the product and the service, which is substantiated by their remarks, "the installation team worked tirelessly to get everything up and sorted in a single day" and they added, "we're delighted with how everything worked out and would happily recommend W&Co's service, which was excellent from beginning to end."
The illuminated display now carries a simple Christmas message which shine out for all passers-by to see, in time they plan to replace the graphic skins to show other subjects raising awareness of the work of The Salvation Army around the world.

LED Light Walls
LED Light Walls (http://www.w-co.co.uk/led-feature-wall.php) can be produced to super large sizes yet start from only 30mm deep. They are illuminated by high bright LEDs which are situated at the edge of the acrylic lighting panel. The light is refracted outwards by an etching pattern which is unique to each individual sized panel to offer the optimum light distribution possible. The lines are obscured and the light distribution enhanced by a sheet of opal acrylic placed over the top of the etched acrylic panel. The LED's offer great energy savings too in comparison to traditional lighting.
LED Light Walls are a fantastic way of illuminating large format display graphics which can be printed directly to the opal acrylic front sheet, printed to self adhesive vinyl or backlit prints such as Duratrans can be utilised with the addition of a clear front sheet to hold it in place. Often the LED light panels are used without display graphics to simply create stunning illuminated surfaces for walls, ceilings, floors or table tops and have proved very popular with architects, shop fitters, banks and retailers.
